This dude was playing chess by himself, standing while waiting for the subway in Times Square. When we all hopped in the shuttle to Grand Station, he calmly continued his game, unperturbed, right in the middle of all the chaos of the car.

That's odd. Latest music gadget and old fashioned chessboard don't mix that well, do they?

•fénix: Hmm... maybe it is his opponent relaying his/her moves at the other end of the earphones... The oddest they are, the proudest they are to show it off.

I hope those chess pieces are magnetic or else he will lost them when someone accidentally bumps into him.

•gail's man: (good name, clever gf!) good point: they must be, lol.
•olivier: merci.
•ming: they must have been because the shuttle was crowded and the game was not interrupted.
•felicia: thanks for stopping by and commenting on my humble little blog. I hope he won, indeed. :D
