This is the Condé Nast building as seen from my office window. Yesterday I showed you its reflection into another Times Square tower. It is one of my favorite buildings to look at in midtown Manhattan. Whenever I need a break, I love watching all the reflections playing on its façade. It is like an urban living mosaic. It reflects so much of the city. Here we can see the buildings to its South reflected into it. But on the corner, slightly below in the curve (not pictured), you can see the taxis of Times Square moving on the little windows. It is like a game: spotting a reflection on the façade and finding which buidling it is. I love it!

looks like a transformers building!
you have very nice views from your office!!
Wow! that's a really nice building (in a weird way). I don't want to be ignorant but Conda Naste is some sort of a travel agent, no? I remember reading a magazine by the same title!
Off to Europe in 7 more days!
Wow, I have never looked up past the advertisments. Pretty impressive.
I'd be mesmerized by it, too! Lots of cool reflections and very intriguing forms. The designers came up with a neat way to address the view-blocking ugliness of skyscrapers.
This building is amazing. I'm surprised you get any work done at all!
•keropok: missed the reference there but I trust you. ;) I admit I am spoiled. :)
•photolicious: well sorta. It is a publishing company (magazines). I believe they have travel magazines in their portfolio. So that's how you must associate their name with the travel business.
Yeah, only 7 days and you are in the old world! How exciting is THAT?
•jim: not sure you can catch all that from the street level indeed. But it does pay to look up! Watch out when you cross though. ;)
•fénix: you got it! Sometimes I have to explain why I like this building so much to my co-workers. Amazing how some people need some serious glasses!
•marley: it is indeed. The first week we moved in the new building it was hard to concentrate indeed. After a while, it's just part of your decor. I am sure some do not even see it anymore. I just love take breaks here and there and observe.
neat looking building. I can understand your liking to it since you can see it nearly everyday. Plus it has a lot of photographic potential.
What a great office view you have, right next to Conde Nast! The skyscrapers and the streets in Manhattan and the people too are amazing to look at..although I've only been there once.
this must be fun..playing the game....and getting to know your city better!!! :)
