Save your money and one day it'll return the favor.
Ah money... to spend it or to save it, that is the question.
I found this philosophical add on a phone booth a few months ago. And thought it was the perfect time to post it: before black Friday, before the craziness of the holidays, before we start working on all those wish lists, ...
This campaign is sponsored by The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The bottom of the add sends you to feedthepig.org, an entertaining website to entice us to save our precious dollars. It is full of interesting facts and tips but also videos, calculators, ... I recommend the click. You'll be greeted by Benjamin Bankes, the only pig I know who wears a white tuxedo so well. And of course, you can befriend Benjamin Bankes on MySpace. Of course.

Interesting thought!
hi eliane - great to catch up with you. Wow those aerial photos are really something - have you bought a plane or something??
always the bloody choices - why can't there be enough to spend and save?! :) I know, I always want everything.
Great Eliane as usual ! --- I visited the site and it's quite funny but I also think that they're pushing people to not make too much debts. Actually I think that in USA people have to work until 75 to pay all debts made in their fiftieth (BTW In Europe we aren't so far). Am I in right?
To live life now or to save for an uncertain future? Well I sure don't know the answer. I've always inclined to the first actually! But now I'm older, well I try to be careful but it's not in my nature.
I do think tho far too much money is borrowed - credit cards and the like. Now that's taking it too far.
Good post.
Sorry for having taken so much time to come back here, but these last weeks have been awful. And the future is not promising, but Ill try to be get some time to enjoy your posts
The pig looks great, but your pics of the new year's ball and of the Empire in green-white-and-red are superb!
Have a great week!
Spend some and save some, that's what I do. I'm spending a lot less now, though. "Things" have started to bore me, really.
hmmm good advice.
let me go see that site now. what an interesting name for a website. feed the pig. haha...
I do save some during the holiday season, mainly Christmas because I have a rule that I only buy gifts for children and never for adults.I think that holiday is really for them anyhow.
• Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your visit and comments. I appreciate every single one of them. I think it's time again to remind you that I have the best readers of the web. Thanks!
