Standard time resumes at 2:00am this Sunday. Clocks are set back one hour. That's ONE extra hour of sleep. I am all about bringing more zzz into my life, pas vous?
For those of us who need a little help to figure out what time it is: www.time.gov.
one city - one day - one picture (well, not religiously but I try)

Good job, Eliane. Your photo of the clock is simply spectacular.
Goodness, what a great clock! As for figuring out what time it is, I don't have to set the alarm for tomorrow morning, so I'm going to let my cell phone tell me what time it is. Then I'm going to change the clocks here and there in the apartment.
About my ice cubes, I just use water from the faucet, but after reading Mr. Lincoln's comment, I believe I'll begin using some of my filtered water, from the Brita pitcher. It could be impurities. Oh, and I plan to check out the site that Hyderabad mentioned, too.
Magnificient clock! My computer just automatically changed the time so now I just have to manually change everything else in the house. I really dislike the change 'cuz everything gets so dark so early!!
What a beauty! Is it Grand Central Station? In Europe we got our extra hour last weekend. Welcome to winter land!
Nous c'est déjà fait depuis la semaine dernière ! On les voit où ces belles horloges dans New-York ? Bon dimanche
nice pic. And yes in Belgium as you know we already changed the clock two weeks ago.
Fab photo of this wonderful clock. Great choice for today. I loved yesterday's photo too.
I used to love having clocks around the house, but daylight saving time changed that. Now I've got three atomic clocks (for pacific use)... that reset themselves.
(I've covered the digital clocks of all the appliances, that do not reset automatically, neatly with black tape. I'm all for simplifying, ya know :).
This is one of the nicest clock photos I have seen in a long time.
Daylight Savings Time is nuts. I remember when we never had such nonsense.

I love this photo. I really miss NY. :)
Fabulous clock! Grand Central?
Spectacular piece, massive, classic yet rounded and not chunky. In Budapest, we've had the pleasure of the extra hour since last week. :)
• Thank you all ! Those of you who guessed that it was the clock of the information booth at Grand Central, without peaking at the tags, win a virtual chocolate bar. Belgian, of course. You don't really thhink that I want to poison you, do you?
One more hour of sleep would be nice!
It's been having rainy weather here in Singapore, and everyone wishes to have a few more hours snuggling in bed!
Wouldn't it? I would vote AND campaign for a law that would oblige us to sleep an extra hour or two. I seems that I would get your support, great! ;)
I also like the background in this photo for a darker matte texture, against the glossiness of the clock and its illumination. Very striking globe-shaped clock.
:) You certainly have my vote for the campaign to add extra hours. In fact, let's just go and hibernate for the winter.
•gwen: you have a good eye! I can see you like going to museum. I really have no clue what I am doing so I am very flattered you see all this in my humple little picture. :)
•isadora: oooh, wonderful idea! I'll put you my ticket! Hillary, Obama and the rest of them better be scared: we are going to be a huge hit with such a campaign.
