I just found out that the theme day for April was water. Digging into my archives, I found this picture of a reflection in the water. It was taken in 2006 at the NY Botanical Garden in the Bronx. Can you guess what it is reflecting? No?? The answer is here.

For the list of participating blogs to this month theme, why don't you visit my friend Ming? He has a gorgeous picture of the New York harbour and links to all the blogs in questions.

A good April to all!

I just stumbled on your blog - I LOVE it. I am from NJ, but currently living in South Africa. I went to the School of Visual Arts in the city for three years and have always spent a lot of time in the city, so obviously I miss it a lot. It's wonderful to find something that will keep me up to date visually with the changes to come in Manhattan as spring unfolds. Beautiful work!

Thanks GOD you're alive! Whew, had us going there, girl! I guess this photo and yesterday's was worth the wait. This is just gorgeous, and if I go to your Flickr site and its there I'm going to fave it. OMG, its a Chihuley!!! No wonder I love it, even in the abstract. ;^)
So, hope you won't drop off the planet again anytime soon.

Brilliant Photo ... a Chihuli piece. I'd seen the installation. It was amazing.

Jolie photo ! Fête-t-on le premier avril comme en France à New-York ? Y a-t-il un jour où l'on peut faire des blagues? Ici, c'est très suivi !

Thanks for the link to what is being reflected as I'd never have guessed it in a month of sundays.

Hey, Welcome back!! You've been missed.

Interesting reflection, it looks like yellow goo spreading on the water. Happy Theme Day.

I love this so much, I could hang it on my wall. From this day forward, I will forever be looking in puddles.

This sort of freaks me out a bit. I originally though some sort of seaweed, but it's more like a tree on some bad acid trip!

Hey Eliane, you're back, holy goodness! For a while, I thought your plane crashed! Well, you left us stranded on a post of your departure at the airport, what else could you have us guessing? This is insane...! Hahaa..

Anyway, glad to have you blogging about NYC again. You know what, you've been missing for so long I thought something terrible really happened to you so I asked Eric (Paris Daily) to put up an open plea on his blog asking for your whereabouts but he never got round to doing that...maybe the FBI will consider it next time. ;)

Thank you all for your comments
Good job for those who guessed without having to click on the link!!!

Reading one of the comments posted here, I understand you might have been worried. Heck, it freaked me out when I read it. I sometimes forget the blogosphere can be a crazy place at times.

Claudine, je ne pense pas que ce soit aussi populaire que chez nous. Quoique lorsque j'ai lu mon bonus hier matin, j'ai cru un moment à une blague. Une bien mauvaise. Mais ça, c'est une toute autre histoire, ah! ;)

kris "a tree on a bad acid trip" - that really cracked me up! :D
