alive and kicking

Broadway @ W79th St - map it here
I know you do worry, hence the update.
And for those of you who have not followed this blog religiously, here is a trip through memory lane.
chair in an unusual place (scavenger hunt)
This chair has been part of the landscape for months now. It stands outside of the 79th street subway station on Broadway. I have never seen anybody sitting on it. But someone must be very fond of it. If you look closely, you will see that it is securely attached to the subway entrance with a padlock.

Oh, its like seeing an old friend! I can't believe he is still there, looking a bit rough though.

Thanks for the update. I can sleep easy tonight knowing he is well :)

It looks like city life is hard on a chair in the big city.

One day, I'm going to come uptown and scribble, "Hi Eliane" on that chair. :-)

Merci à tous et à toutes! Thank you all! I knew it was time for an update. It's an old friend. Kind of a muse of this blog. If it wasn't padlocked, it would probably be in my living room right now. It definitely has some character, don't you think?
