rockefeller center - map it here
I took this picture last weekend at the Rockefeller Center - apologies for the poor quality.
We are looking towards Fifth Avenue, which is just where you can see the line of flags at the back. The area is very touristy so I waited, and waited, and waited until most of the traffic was gone. And when everything was clear: click-clack-Kodak!
To my surprise, in that very short laps of time, a gentleman found a way to get into my frame. I snapped a few more, just to make sure. I don't know if he did this on purpose, to make sure the picture had a little more drama in it or if this nose-picking was just a pressing need, but this one made me laugh. Is anything biting?

C'est un tres belle foto. OK that the extent of my poor French. I think it's a terrific photo - it caught my eye on CDP thumbnails with the symmetry, and repetition in the buildings and the drama of the flowers, the scuplture & yes, the nose picking. Goes on my top 10 list of this week's photos.
When someone stuck in the nose, you gotta get it out!
It's really very uncomfortable having it stuck in the nose. LOL...

I love this photo mainly because the yellow flowers bordering the ponds are so different from what I've seen previously. I haven't been to the Rockefeller Center in awhile.

Gosh I thought it was a great photo - you are way to critical. I do that too - stand and wait and often glare at people trying to get them to move on!!!!
The bit part player is simply pointing up his important "sense of scale" contribution to your image. This person is necessary since NYC with no people would be an oxymoron. Come to think of it, you may have captured the ever-elusive and oft-pursued Oxy!

Second, I do like, very much, the way you changed the Rounder template to make it your own. Nice job. It really works for you and your posts that I have seen.
Third, I do like your photography. I mean that the things you are taking pictures of fits the layout perfectly. And you should not apologize for your photography. Whatever else it is or might be, it is a slice of time that is frozen forever or for however long the digital imaging crowds sees a profit in their technologies

I have really been surprised and have really enjoyed this look at your work here in this new blog.
