Recycle-A-Bicycle is a not-for-profit organization with a shop in the East Village and one in DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) in Brooklyn. In addition to give a new life to an old, tired, bicycle, they run programs encouraging cycling, particularly among children.

i love wandering around dumbo. it's a little populated than it used to be, but still plenty of room to groove!
