heart in a puddle

[*] heart in a puddle
lorimer st - greenpoint, brooklyn - map it here [i]
This Sunday, I was exploring Greenpoint, a Brooklyn neighborhood, also known as Little Poland. It's an ecclectic neighborhood, rumored to be the next hipster haven.
On Lorimer Street, I saw this puddle with a plastic heart. The trees reflected are from McCarren Park just on the other side of the street.

So I have to ask: which one do you like best? The vertical or the horizontal one?

the void makes the vertical work. tension. horizontal is static.

Vertical definitely!!The yellow looks more gold from that angle. Thanks for the pictures..makes me miss the eclecticness(is this a word) of home!

I like them both equally and wrote a poem using the first image - you can read it here

I hope you don't mind, I posted your image along with the poem, if you wish for me to take it down, then let me know

thanks for the inspiration!
