salade niçoise - office somewhere in the times square area [L]
Today's homemade lunch was the subject of a little "compare and contrast" exercise.
The first picture was taken via the old good iPhone. Just one click. Not too bad.
The second and third were taken with the new baby Leica.
I still need to experiment of course. The image format is a bit bizarre (very rectangular) and the size astronomically huge. But it does look crispier. A bit like when you get your new contacts and everything looks a tad more fresh.
So, what do you think?

I see much more definition & dimension with the new camera shot.
I'm not sure if your camera can do it, but I think you may be able to adjust the format & the size too.
It took me a while to realize that with mine, many hours of going through the manual, but well worth it since you will save space on your computer if you can adjust the size & it's always nice to be able to control the format as well.
Photos 2 and 3 look crispier. But the 1st one (iPhone) looks really good.
My iPhone never takes such good photos.
les photos avec le leica sont quand même de meilleure qualité , tu vois vraiment une difference quand tu les regardes en grand format ;)
I think you can adjust the setting to get a smaller but still sharp photo with the new baby... clearly its photos are sharper due to higher # of pixels and better lens
Salad looks delish!
Google Leica forums or Leica help. Someone on the net will know how to alter the format. You've made me wnat a holiday in the South of France so much with this image.
