zipping through the night

zipping through the night
7th ave. - anywhere between W.Houston & W27th St.- how's that for precision?
Yes, it's August already. Isn't that amazing? The summer is zipping away. Just like this firetruck zipping through a summer evening about a week ago. This is my selection for this month theme (night).

We were just talking about that tonight. August. And in August around here is the Great Darke County Fair and then kids start back to school. Summer is over but it is still nice here until the middle or last of November. We have had a strange summer anyway with July being the coldest on record. And August is starting out that way. It was only 59 this morning.

I do like your photograph and it looks like night to me.

Mine is on my Brookville Daily Photo blog. But I also hope you can visit “Pick a Peck of Pixels” and leave a comment or become a Follower. I am trying to get to 10,000 visitors or followers in a short period of time with this new blog. If I am successful, all of those who left comments or became Followers will also make history with me. It has never been done before.

Perfect post - both the photo fitting the official August theme of CDP (Night) and the unofficial August theme of "Oh No - Summer is almost over gotta do ... (fill in all the summery things you haven't done yet) ... before the summer ends"
